DP6 architectuurstudio is a Delft-based architectural practice known for its expressive, sustainable and context-driven designs. The studio works across a wide range of typologies, including cultural institutions, infrastructure, educational buildings and housing, always with a strong focus on spatial experience, craftsmanship and material quality. DP6 places great value on how buildings interact with their environment and users, creating architecture that is both functional and emotionally resonant.

Robert Alewijnse, founding partner of DP6, plays a central role in shaping the studio’s vision and design language. His work explores how architecture can enhance everyday life through light, structure and a deep connection to place. One of his recent projects, RADIUS, is a transformation of a 100-year-old pump house in Delft into a center for contemporary art and ecology. This conversion reflects DP6’s commitment to adaptive reuse, ecological responsibility and designing with respect for historical layers. In addition to his design work, Robert contributes to the architectural field through teaching and public dialogue.
